PURPOSE:
To consider accepting the FY’18 award from the Accountability Court Judges Funding Committee and the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council in the amount of $103,879 and appropriating that amount to the Grant fund along with the required match of $11,542; for spending in compliance with the grantor’s requirements.
NEED/IMPACT:
The grant award governs the use of the funds provided by the Acceptance of FY’18 Grant from the Council of Accountability Court Judges Funding Committee and the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council to assist the DeKalb County DUI Court Supervised Treatment Program in defraying costs associated with the treatment of DUI Court participants, including drug/alcohol testing, counseling sessions, transportation for the participants to and from treatment, and for ongoing training of judges and staff.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Match funds of $11,542 is required from the county and will be covered with the DUI Court’s operating budget.

To accept the FY’18 award from the Accountability Court Judges Funding Committee and the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council in the amount of $103,879 and appropriating said amount to the grant fund along with the required match of $11,542; for spending in compliance with the grantor’s requirements and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all the necessary documents.
