PURPOSE:
The hardware (servers) that support the current ticketing subscriptions have failed and are no longer under warranty. In addition, the Windows 2003 operating system and the SQL 2003 Database platforms that the application runs on has not been supported by Microsoft since 2015. The outages are affecting the ability to deliver citations electronically with the unique identifier to the Courts for processing. This request is to cover the subscription fee and cost of migrating over 700 police laptop computers to a cloud-based ticketing system which will eliminate usage of current failing servers and reverting to paper citations and a manual process for the Courts. Advanced Public Safety is the sole manufacturer, distributer and service provider of its proprietary Virtual Partner Suite software system.

Recommend approval of the sole source with:
Advanced Public Safety, LLC, 1000 Business Center Drive, Lake Mary, FL 32746
Amount Not To Exceed: $106,880.00
and authorize the CEO to execute the contract and all associated documents.
