PURPOSE:
To consider transferring $89,856.75 from the Coventry Road Quiet Zone account (Project 102237, Award 600811) to a new CIP account for the DeKalb Avenue Quiet Zone Project;
NEED/IMPACT:
The Coventry Road Quiet Zone is complete. The proposed transfer will move remaining project funds to a project to implement a quiet zone at the nearby DeKalb Avenue crossing. GDOT is proposing to add gates at this crossing. This will significantly reduce the cost to the county to make the crossing eligible for a quiet zone.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Existing funds will be transferred within CIP award 600811.

To transfer $89,856.75 from Project 102237, Award 600811 to a new CIP account for the DeKalb Avenue Quiet Zone project.
