STAFF ANALYSIS: The subject property is improved with a single-family detached dwelling that was constructed circa 1963. The applicant, Druniece Jackson, requests a Special Land Use Permit (SLUP) to allow for a child daycare facility for up to six (6) individuals to operate on the subject property. The applicant's letter of intent submitted with their application describes their proposal as an "in-home preschool" for children aged two-and-a-half (2 1/2) to five (5) years. Hours of operation would be limited to Monday through Friday during typical business hours and the use will take place within the existing dwelling.
