PURPOSE:
To consider adopting the attached resolution creating Street Light Special Tax District 121AA in
Land Lot 104 of the 15th District for the following streets: Lumby Drive, Gus Place; and
To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents pertaining to this project.
NEED/IMPACT:
Owners of 100% percent of the total front footage have signed the petition. The public hearing has been advertised and appropriate signs have been posted in the area notifying the residents. The developer has paid Georgia Power Company for the installation costs. All abutting property on this street will be assessed three dollars and thirty-six cents ($3.36) per lighted streetside foot per year in accordance with County policy.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The developer has paid the Georgia Power Company for the installation costs. This agenda item establishes a special tax district to cover future costs.
