PURPOSE:
To consider the attached Resolution, Order and Declaration of Taking for the acquisition of a parcel of land (TPID 18 167 01 075 Owner: Phyu P. Myint) located within the boundaries required to complete the Roman Court Project under the Consent Decree-Gravity Sewer System Rehabilitation and Replacement Project. The purpose of this Project is to meet Consent Decree requirements, update the county's sewer infrastructure and to reduce sewer spills.

NEED/IMPACT:
This condemnation will enable the County to complete the Roman Court Project. This project is necessary to complete critical sewer upgrades and improvements that will ensure compliance with the mandated Consent Decree, Federal Clean Water Act and the Georgia Water Quality Control Act and improves the viability of the County's sewer system.

The County Attorney has reviewed the attached documents and approves to form.

FISCAL IMPACT:
The total cost to DeKalb County, Department of Watershed Management is $4,600.00 (Four Thousand Six Hundred Dollars and 00/100 to purchase the easement.
