PURPOSE:
This agenda item will use District 5 funding designated for the John Lewis Memorial Project to continue Phase II of the project.
NEED/IMPACT:
In 2020, the John Lewis Memorial was unveiled by DeKalb County, GA in the City of Decatur and now stands as a national attraction. Phase II of the project will incorporate an interactive piece to the experience that visitors have and this funding is being allocated to implement Phase II of the John Lewis Memorial.
FISCAL IMPACT:
To appropriate $115,543.53 from the District 5 POETA 106792.69110.521209.01.602989

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents
