PURPOSE:
Funding will be used to provide meals during the summer months for children along the Memorial Drive Corridor.
NEED/IMPACT:
The summer meal program will feed hundreds of children who live at extended stay hotels within two blocks of Rock of Ages Lutheran Church most of these children are not able to secure transportation to take them to countywide school sites where a meal will be provided during the summer school break.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Distribute allocation of $2,0000.00 from District 4 Reserve for Appropriation funds to Rock of Ages Lutheran Church of Stone Mountain.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the resolution and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
