PURPOSE:

To consider authorizing the payment to Georgia Power of up to $13,000.00 for changes to existing street lights for construction of the Lithonia Industrial Boulevard Extension project from I-20 to Woodrow Road; and

To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents pertaining to this project.

 

NEED/IMPACT:
The extension of Lithonia Industrial Boulevard from I-20 will require the removal of three existing street lights and the adjustment of three others that are along county-owned and privately-owned sections of Woodrow Road.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:
Existing HOST and CIP funds for the project will be used to pay for this work.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

To authorize the payment to Georgia Power of up to $13,000.00 for changes to existing street lights for construction of the Lithonia Industrial Boulevard Extension project from I-20 to Woodrow Road; and

To authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents pertaining to the project.
