PURPOSE:

Awarded by the BOC on September 23, 2025 for an amount not to exceed $191,092.44 for court upgrades at Wade Walker and Sugar Creek Golf Course. This request seeks to increase contract funds to include court conversion for pickleball at EMBARC and Dottie Bridges Tennis Centers. This conversion maximizes the use of existing infrastructure, resulting in a cost-effective improvement without the need for new land acquisition or major construction, and aligns with the County’s commitment to efficient resource utilization, equitable access to recreational amenities, and responsiveness to community needs.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 with:

 

Signature Tennis Courts, Inc., 1025 Rose Creek Drive, Suite 620-244, Woodstock, GA 30189

 

Amount Not To Exceed: $72,910.00

 

and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
