PURPOSE:
To allocate $300,000 to Leadership DeKalb over a three-year period to strengthen leadership and management skills among county employees
NEED/IMPACT:
This allocation provides funding to Leadership DeKalb to strengthen leadership and management skills among County employees, recognizing that effective public service depends on well-trained, engaged leaders. Through this partnership, County employees gain access to leadership development programs, including tuition waivers and discounts. This investment not only enhances the County workforce’s capacity for efficient, innovative service delivery but also benefits residents by improving government responsiveness, fostering community collaboration, and promoting long-term organizational excellence and civic engagement across DeKalb County.
FISCAL IMPACT:
An amount not to exceed $300,000 from a source to be identified by the governing authority. The Contract Price shall be apportioned as follows: One Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($100,000.00) to be paid in 2026, One Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($100,000.00) to be paid in 2027, One Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($100,000.00) to be paid in 2028.
