PURPOSE:
To appropriate District 6 Reserve for Appropriation funds to fund Bridge Housing Assistance, Outreach and Emergency Shelter through the Department of Community Development and their sub-contractors.
NEED/IMPACT:
The current decline in the economy is expected to worsen the existing homeless problem. These services will help households avoid from becoming homeless.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Transfer $150,000 from Non-Departmental - Unincorporated Fund-Reserve for Appropriation (09130.579002.272.0000.0000 to Non-Departmental -Unincorporated Fund- Grant Fund (09130.611250.272.0000.0000)
