PURPOSE:

To Appropriate $10,000 from the District 3 Reserve for Appropriation Fund to How Big Is Your Dream?! for the 2026 Spring Break and Summer Academy.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

How Big Is Your Dream?! Academy and Music, Arts, Diversity and Entertainment (M.A.D.E.) offer an exciting and transformative Spring Break and Summer experience. Designed for youth ages 10-18, from beginners to advanced performers, the programs provide a dynamic and supportive environment where creativity and ambition are nurtured.

 

 Through a comprehensive, hands-on curriculum led by world-renowned artists and top regional educators, students will gain real-world insight into the many career pathways within music and entertainment. Sessions are designed to deepen understanding in areas such as music technology, visual and performing arts, music theory, and how arts involvement can boost academic success.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

To appropriate $10,000 from the District 3 Reserve for Appropriation Fund to How Big Is Your Dream?! for the 2026 Spring Break and Summer Academy.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

To approve the allocations from 2026 District 3 Reserve for Appropriation Fund and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all the necessary documents.
