PURPOSE:
To record the appointment of Nicole M. Golden as Chief Deputy Tax Commissioner for DeKalb County.
NEED/IMPACT:
In accordance with the requirement set forth in O.C.G.A. 48-5-128.1 for the sole purpose of appointing a successor to fill an unexpired term of the Tax Commissioner should a vacancy occur, or if for any reason, the Tax Commissioner is unable to serve a complete term of office, Irvin J. Johnson, Tax Commissioner of DeKalb County, Georgia, appoints Nicole M. Golden as Chief Deputy Tax Commissioner of DeKalb County, Georgia. This serves as the recording of the notice of this appointment by the Tax Commissioner in the official minutes of the Board of Commissioners as required by code.
