PURPOSE:

To consider adopting a resolution authorizing the preparation and distribution of a Request for Bids for the
solicitation of competitive bids from financial institutions for the purchase of the County's 2025A TAN in an
aggregate principal amount not to exceed $114,480,000 for the purposes of obtaining a temporary loan to pay
current expenses during the 2025 calendar year.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

To fund a portion of County operations until the collection of 2025 property tax revenues in the fall

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Current estimated net interest cost is 3. 75% per annum. Approximately $75,000 cost of issuance.

Recommended Action

Adopt the attached resolution and authorize the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Financial Officer to execute all necessary documents in connection with this matter.
