PURPOSE:
To consider rescinding Traffic Calming District Number 18-15-11 and adopting the attached resolution creating Traffic Calming District Number 25-15-04 in Land Lot 159 of the 15th District; to consider authorizing the removal of the speed table at 4411 Aldergate Drive; to continue assessing all properties in the affected area an annual maintenance cost of $25.00.
NEED/IMPACT:
Cut-thru was previously confirmed on Aldergate Drive & Tudor Castle Way between John Wesley Drive and Dover Castle Drive, which met the criteria for traffic calming measures, and Traffic Calming District 25-15-04 was created. Owners of 72.72% of the eligible properties in the reduced affected area surrounding 4411 Aldergate Drive signed the petition to have the speed table in front of 4411 Aldergate Drive removed due to impacts to adjacent property owners. The public hearing has been advertised and appropriate signs have been posted notifying residents in the area.
FISCAL IMPACT:
All properties in the affected area will be assessed a yearly maintenance cost of $25.00 during the life of the traffic calming measures beginning the first year after installation.
