PURPOSE:
To consider accepting -$10,000.00 in Emergency Funding for the DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and appropriating the amount to an existing Grant Fund.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council has awarded an additional $10,000 in the Emergency Funding to the DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court. Funding will be used toward treatment and case managers for program participants. The grant period is from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. No additional match is required.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for all services provided by Criminal Justice Coordinating Council Grant in the amount of $10,000. Funding must be spent by June 30, 2024, end of State FY 2024.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents. To accept -$10,000 in Emergency Funding for DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and appropriate the amount to an existing Grant Fund.
