An Ordinance to Amend the Code of DeKalb County, Georgia- Parking Restriction on Cedar Crest Way

PURPOSE:

To consider adopting the attached ordinance to amend the Code of DeKalb County, Georgia, Chapter 17,
Article XXI, Section 362 to restrict parking on Cedar Crest Way, both sides of the street.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

The residents have petitioned to restrict parking on both sides of Cedar Crest Way. Fifty-one percent (51%) voted to restrict parking.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

The only costs are for production and installation of necessary signs

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

To adopt the attached ordinance to amend the Code of DeKalb County, Georgia, Chapter 17, Article XXI, Section 362 to restrict parking on Cedar Crest Way, both sides of the street; and to authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents pertaining to this ordinance.
