PURPOSE:
To amend the code of DeKalb County, Georgia, Chapter 15- Licenses, Permits, and Miscellaneous Regulations, Article XV. Non-Discrimination
NEED/IMPACT:
The proposed revisions are needed to strengthen DeKalb County’s protections against discrimination and ensure equal access to employment, housing, and public accommodations. By clearly defining prohibited discriminatory practices and providing a local process for addressing violations, the ordinance promotes fairness, protects residents, and supports a welcoming and economically vibrant community
