PURPOSE:

Sanitation utilizes CNG fuel for approximately 184 County trucks/ vehicles.  Beginning on or around the end of April or beginning of May 2019, the Seminole Landfill CNG fuel station will be inaccessible for approximately one (1) month. This request is to use the only two (2) CNG stations that are located within twenty (20) miles of the Seminole Landfill (River Road) and the East Collection Lot (Lithonia) locations.

Justification:                                       Impacts the daily operations of trash and debris pick up and disposal. The vehicles will need to be re-routed to stations that are within a twenty (20) mile radius. This vendor is the only company that has two (2) stations within a 12 - 15 mile radius.
