PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on December 14, 2021, for an amount not to exceed $2,400,000.00. On December 12, 2023, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to increase funds for an amount not to exceed $1,350,000.00 and to extend the contract term to cover the significant increase in voter turnout anticipated for the 2024 Presidential Election year. On March 11, 2025, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to extend the contract term through December 31, 2025, and to ratify a 60-day contract term increase. The Office of the Secretary of State certified Dominion Voting Systems as the official voting systems in the State of Georgia. The County established a contract with the vendor to purchase voting equipment and supplies for the 2022 and 2023 election cycles. These are essential services that fortifies voting data and improves voting experience. This contract consists of the purchase of mandated electronic voting software and hardware products, equipment, and supplies for the 2026 election cycle. This request seeks approval to increase contract funds and term through December 31, 2026.
