PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on October 22, 2024, for an amount not to exceed $2,996,000.00. On August 12, 2025, the BOC approved Change order No. 1 for an amount not to exceed $2,700,000.00. This contract consists of purchasing off the competitively let SWC No. 99999-001-SPD0000183-0002 to support law enforcement and emergency responders in carrying out their daily duties that rely on the use of these pursuit and special service vehicles. Additional funds are needed to This request seeks to increase contract funds and term October 31, 2027 to support the replacement of 123 vehicles across multiple departments as well as the funding of 116 additional law enforcement units being added to the fleet. This purchase also supports the 2026 vehicle order cycle.
