PURPOSE:
Consists of providing sweeping of roadways, gutters, paved shoulders and disposal of debris for the CEO’s Operation Clean Sweep. The current contracted vendor declined to provide the services because the County had not utilized the services upon award of the contract. Services have been provided by in-house R&D staff; however they can no longer keep up with the demand.

2. Justification: The current state of the roads is creating a hazard to the
public due to debris buildup which results in vehicle damage and flooding from blocked curbs/basins.
