PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC, on May 28, 2024 for an amount not to exceed $443,831.19. On October 8, 2024, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 notating a revised contract term of May 31, 2025 to allow the vendor appropriate time to complete from the recission and re-award of this project. This contract consists of the installation of a canopy over the Judges’ parking lot at the DeKalb County Juvenile Justice Center. This request seeks to increase the contract term through August 31, 2025 due to delays in the manufacturing of the pre-fabricated building.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 2 with:
Brad Construction Company II, LLC, 500 W. Lanier Ave., Fayetteville, GA 30214
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
