PURPOSE:
To accept subgrant award in the amount of $101,698 awarded by the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council to the County for the benefit of the State Court of DeKalb County’s DUI Court Program. The DUI Court Program is fully certified by the State of Georgia through February 28, 2028.
NEED/IMPACT:
The grant funds will be used to continue to support the court’s mission in a collaborative effort with other entities and agencies in working to reduce drunk and drugged drivers on DeKalb County roadways. Through the efforts of the DUI Court Program, these funds will be used to defray costs associated with the DUI Court operations, administration, drug and alcohol testing, public transportation, and treatment options for program participants.
FISCAL IMPACT:
