RA: Ratification of Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement between DeKalb County Government and the
DeKalb County School District for the 2024 and 2025 school years for a revised amount not to exceed
$53,197.00. DeKalb County School Nutrition Services furnished after school snacks to the Department
of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs with the attached agreement between the DeKalb County
School District and DeKalb County Government adjusted to reflect the actual cost of providing the
services.

PURPOSE:
To ratify Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement between DeKalb County Government and the DeKalb
County School District to provide after school snacks to nine Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Affairs
programs for the 2024/2025 school year with a revised amount of $53,197.00 for the 2024/2025 school
year running from August 5, 2024, to May 29, 2025. The original Agreement contemplated
expenditures totaling $44,550.00 but actual costs to provide the approved snacks totaled $53,136.00.
DeKalb County Government, through RPCA is responsible for serving after school snacks provided
by the DeKalb County School District through DeKalb County School Nutrition Services and shall
maintain HACCP Procedures. School Nutrition Services meals were not provided when schools are
closed for inclement weather.
NEED/IMPACT:
The DeKalb County School Nutrition Services provided after school snacks to the following recreation
centers: Gresham Recreation Center, Tobie Grant Recreation Center, Exchange Recreation Center,
Midway Recreation Center, Mason Mill Recreation Center, Lucious Sanders Recreation Center, N.H.
Scott Recreation Center, Hamilton Recreation Center, and East Central DeKalb Senior
