Consent to Sublease under Contract No. 16-1710 with 2005 Flightway Drive, L.L.C.    There is no cost to the County.

PURPOSE:

To consider approval of Consent to Sublease under Contract No. 16-1710 with 2005 Flightway Drive, L.L.C; and

To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute the Consent to Sublease.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

On May 1, 2016, the County and the Airport entered into a revenue generating Lease Agreement with 2005 Flightway Drive, L.L.C. for leased premises at 2005 Flightway Drive on DeKalb Peachtree Airport. 

 

2005 Flightway Drive, L.L.C., desires to sublease 4960 square feet of the leased premises in the hangar, to TSG Holdings Company GA LLC, in accordance with Section 29 of the Lease Agreement.  As a result of the sublease agreement, substantial benefit will inure to the public.

 

The County Attorney has reviewed the document and approved it as to form pending Governing Authority approval.

 

The DeKalb Peachtree Airport Advisory Board at their meeting on February 9, 2026, unanimously approved the Consent to Sublease.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

This is a revenue generating lease agreement.  There is no cost to the County.
