PURPOSE:
To accept a grant from Buckle Up For Life, Inc., and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center of fifty two Evenflo Titan 65 convertible car seats, twenty four Evenflo AMP no-back boosters, and seventy six car seat pacts. Items are valued in excess of $2,500.
NEED/IMPACT:
This grant will enable us to address a critical need for education and distribution of safe car seats throughout the county, especially throughout our economically challenged populations. The Fire Rescue Department intends to hold planned car seat check events in the community by partnering with local libraries and non-profits.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No cost to the county.

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
