PURPOSE:
To consider accepting $197,500.00 from the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) by way of CJCC for the DeKalb County Felony Drug Court and appropriating it in a new award in the grant fund.
NEED/IMPACT:
DBHDD via the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council is awarding DeKalb County Accountability Court $197,500.00 to be used for treatment coordinator, psychiatric and nursing services, medication assistance, counseling services, housing services, and drug testing & monitoring services. The grant period is from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, and no match is required.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for all services provided by Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) by way of CJCC in the amount of $197,500.00. Funding must be spent by June 30, 2026, end of State FY 2026.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the resolution and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents. To accept $197,500.00 from DBHDD via CJCC for DeKalb County Felony Drug Court and appropriate into a new award in the grant fund.
