PURPOSE:
The purpose of the renewal of the Service Delivery Strategy is to update the Georgia Department of Community Affairs of how the County, and its municipalities agree to provide local services in a cost-effective and coordinated manner.
NEED/IMPACT:
This is necessary for the County and its municipalities to maintain the County’s Qualified Local Government (QLG) Status, which expires, October 31, 2026. QLG Status is necessary to access State funding for local government financial resources and incentives.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.

Recommended Action
To approve the resolution and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
