PURPOSE:

Application of Aishah Bajunaid and Nadia Nabavi to rezone property from R-85 (Residential Medium Lot-85) zoning district to RSM (Small Lot Residential Mix) zoning district to allow a senior housing development.

STAFF ANALYSIS: The applicants are requesting a withdrawal without prejudice of both, the requested application to rezone from R-85 to RSM zoning district and the companion application (SLUP-26- 1247934) to operate a senior housing facility in a residential zoning district. Staff supports this request and recommends “Withdrawal without prejudice” of both applications.

 

PLANNING COMMISSION VOTE: (March 3, 2026) Withdrawal without Prejudice 7-0-0. Motion was made by Commissioner Costello, seconded by Commissioner Murphy for withdrawal without prejudice, per the Applicant’s request.

 

COMMUNITY COUNCIL VOTE/RECOMMENDATION:  (February 2026) Deferral 5-0-0.
