PURPOSE:
This request seeks to provide a comprehensive support solution that will help minimize significant downtime in the event that problems occur and impact the Microsoft environment within the County. Without the support access to patches, security alerts, and support will be non-existent delaying remediation response time.

Recommend approval of the sole source with:
Microsoft Corporation, 1 Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052
Amount Not To Exceed: $999,627.00
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the contract and all associated documents.
