PURPOSE:
Initiate a zoning change that will result in a major modification of a SLUP granted in 2012 for the Clifton Springs Corner Development. This proposed change was a condition of a subsequent SLUP for this property in 2014 and will bring the property into zoning compliance. The owner of the subject property agreed to this change in condition and has been notified of this change.
NEED/IMPACT:
The original site plan underwent a DRI review to consider the transportation impacts of this proposed development. The SLUP conditions limited the site plan to two fast food drive-thru restaurants. The owner later decided to amend the site plan and build a Quick Trip instead of a fast food restaurant. As a condition to approving the Quick Trip, the owner agreed to a condition that modifies the original conditions to permit only one fast food restaurant. The major modification proposed today will bring the original site plan of 2012 into compliance with the SLUP conditions adopted in 2014.
