PURPOSE:
Pursuant to the Resolution reorganizing the DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs Board, the Chief Executive Officer nominates Sheldon Fleming to Post 8 of the Recreation, Parks & Cultural Affairs Board (commonly referred to as the RPCA Citizen’s Advisory Board) for confirmation by majority vote of the Board of Commissioners. This appointment will begin upon confirmation and expire on December 31, 2028.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs Board advises the Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs on programs, facilities, and the general direction of recreation, parks, and cultural affairs in DeKalb County.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No cost to the County.
