PURPOSE:
•To consider approving Catalina Content and HLN Network use of DeKalb County’s locations, nomenclature, and/or symbols; and
•To consider approving Catalina Content and HLN Network access to DeKalb County Police Department’s investigators and evidence in the filming of the HLN series “Vengeance”; and
•To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute the necessary documents.
NEED/IMPACT:
The filming of “Vengeance” will feature a homicide case which was investigated by the DeKalb County Police Department. The related locations, symbols, and/or nomenclature will be used during interviews with detectives. Photographing, filming, and scene recording may include various locations throughout the County, to include the DeKalb County Police Department headquarters and precincts.
