PURPOSE:

Consists of piggy backing off the competitively let Houston-Galveston Area Council (HGAC) Contract No. FS12-19 to purchase twelve (12) Rosenbauer Pumper Commander Chassis Fire Trucks to transport fire crews, water, and equipment to an emergency scene. Fire rescue pumper trucks supply hose lines with water used for extinguishment so their presence is necessary for efficient fire suppression operations. 

These are replacement units under the eight-twelve (8-12) year replacement cycles.

Recommend approval to purchase from HGAC Contract No. FS12-19 with:

Amount Not To Exceed: $11,925,636.00
