PURPOSE:
Appropriation of an amount not to exceed $2,500.00 from District 6 Reserve for Appropriations to LifeLine Animal Project's mobile clinic to service 50 patients/clients with Rabies, DHPP/FVRCP and microchipping as a part of the district 2 sponsored CompassionCom event on Sunday, October 27th.
NEED/IMPACT:
In a continued effort to mitigate the overcrowding of the DeKalb County Animal Shelter it is imperative that affordable resources are available to all DeKalb County pet families, especially the underserved areas of south DeKalb County and those who experience the lack of funding to provide this proactive care.
This District 6 Reserve for Appropriation supports District 2 sponsored CompassionCon by providing the opportunity to support 50 patients/clients with Rabies, DHPP/FVRCP and microchipping.
