PURPOSE:

To Allocate an Amount Not to Exceed $60,000 from the District 3 Reserved for Appropriation Fund to the Police Department for the Purchase of (1) Mobile Trailer Surveillance Camera to be used in District 3 that Can Help Deter Criminal Activity.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

Funding is being requested to support enhanced public safety efforts in District 3. The mobile trailer surveillance camera will help deter criminal activity and assist in helping create a safer environment for residents, businesses and community stakeholders.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

$60,000 from the District 3 Reserved for Appropriation Fund and appropriated to Police Department account 00203.611350.100.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

To allocate an amount not to exceed $60,000 from the District 3 Reserved for Appropriation Fund to the Police Department for the Purchase of (1) Mobile Trailer Surveillance Camera to be Used in District 3 and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all the necessary documents in a form acceptable to the County Attorney or his designee.
