PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on January 25, 2022, to five (5) vendors for a total amount not to exceed $5,299,736.80. On November 10, 2025, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 for an amount not to exceed $100,000.00 for conceptual plans and renderings for Fire Stations 18, 19 and 20, contract term extension through December 31, 2028 and authorized a Consent to Assignment for a name change from Pieper O' Brien Herr Architects to POH+W Architects, LTD. This contract consists of providing on call architect and engineering services for a variety of planning, design and construction projects for the County. This request is to increase the contract for design services and construction administration for major renovations for Fire Stations 18, 19 and 20.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 2 with:
POH+W Architects, LTD., 3000 Royal Blvd. S., Alpharetta, GA 30022
Amount Not To Exceed: $1,394,490.00
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
