PURPOSE:
To appropriate $2,500 from the District 3 Reserve for Appropriation Fund to the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) DeKalb Chapter.
NEED/IMPACT:
The NCNW have been a pillar in the community for over ninety years with distinguished leadership, service, and empowerment in communities. This appropriation will help further advance initiatives focused on education, economic empowerment, health, and civic engagement for women, strengthening families, and young people to thrive. Investing in their programs means supporting mentorship, leadership development, and community solutions that uplift future generations.
FISCAL IMPACT:
To appropriate $2,500 from the District 3 Reserve for Appropriation Fund to the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) DeKalb Chapter.
RECOMMENDATION:

To approve the allocations from District 3 reserved for appropriation funds and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all the necessary documents.
