PURPOSE:

To approve the acquisition of 7558 Pleasant Hill Road (16-188-04-033) and allocate $120,000.00 from SPLOST Program Category 2A, Account N104785-80652-541301-1.2-602005, to fund the acquisition of the property.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

The County will acquire this property to construct a new Fire Station 27 upon the property.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact to the 2021 operating budget. This acquisition will be funding from SPLOST Program Category 2A.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

To approve (1) Acquisition of 7558 Pleasant Hill Road (16-188-04-033) and allocate $120,000.00 from SPLOST Program Category 2A, Account N104785-80652-541301-1.2-602005, to fund the acquisition of the property, subject to completion of all due diligence; (2) Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute a Purchase & Sale Agreement in a form acceptable to the County Attorney or her designee; and(3) Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents in connection with completing this real estate transaction.
