PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on August 8, 2023, for an amount not to exceed $2,250,000.00. This contract consists of the use of proprietary software that allows the County the capability to create publicly accessible GIS Apps/Dashboards/Maps, deploy software, and is fully integrated into other departmental workflows and business systems. This software has been utilized by the County since March 2011. The software has allowed GIS to be fully integrated into departmental workflows and business systems. It facilitates emergency services, police, fire, water/sewer services and citizens alike to maneuver the County and locate emergency calls with no deviation in course. The manufacturer is the only supplier that can provide annual maintenance, training and professional services. The three-year contract includes several additions and modifications to existing components to better meet the business needs of the GIS Department. This request seeks to increase the contract funds and term through November 13, 2029.
