PURPOSE:
Contingent on closing and taking ownership of 999 Briarcliff Road, to approve an amendment to the DeKalb County (“Lessor”) and Callanwolde Foundation, Inc. (“Lessee”) lease to add 999 Briarcliff Road, NE, Atlanta, GA 30306 (Tax Parcel No. 18 001 05 024) (the “Property”) and approve the sublease between Lessee and the seller, Atlanta Metropolitan Cathedral, Inc.
NEED/IMPACT:
The County is scheduled to close on the purchase of the 999 Briarcliff Road property with Atlanta Metropolitan Catherdral, Inc. which is located across from the County owned property at 980 Briarcliff Road, currently leased to Callanwolde Foundation, Inc. to expand the activity on these parcels by adding this property (999 Briarcliff Road) to the lease with Callanwoldeand approve the sublease between Lessee and the seller, Atlanta Metropolitan Cathedral, Inc. to facilitate the seller’s transition out of the property.

Contingent on closing and taking ownership of 999 Briarcliff Road, to approve (1) an amendment to the DeKalb County (“Lessor”) and Callanwolde Foundation, Inc. (“Lessee”) lease to add 999 Briarcliff Road, NE, Atlanta, GA 30306 (Tax Parcel No. 18 001 05 024) (the “Property”), (2) approve the sublease between Lessee and the seller, Atlanta Metropolitan Cathedral, Inc. and (3) Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
