PURPOSE:
To consider adopting the attached resolution creating Street Light Special Tax District 117D in Land Lot 003 of the 18th District for the following street: Clifton Ridge
NEED/IMPACT:
The public hearing has been advertised and appropriate signs have been posted in the area notifying the residents. The developer has paid Georgia Power Company for the installation costs of the street lights required for the new subdivision. All abutting property on this street will be assessed forty-three cents ($0.43) per lighted streetside foot per year in accordance with County policy.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The developer has paid Georgia Power Company for the installation costs of the street lights. This agenda item establishes a special tax district to pay for the energy and maintenance costs of the street lights.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Adopt the attached resolution to create Street Light Special Tax District 117D in Land Lot 003 of the 18th District for Clifton Ridge. All abutting property on this street will be assessed forty-three cents ($0.43) per lighted streetside foot per year.
