PURPOSE:
To consider approving an intergovernmental agreement between the County and the City of Stonecrest, to provide for the transition of business license services to the City of Stonecrest from 2017 forward.
NEED/IMPACT:
This intergovernmental agreement is intended to support the transition of business license services to the City of Stonecrest, and signifies a mutually beneficial, efficient and cooperative working relationship between the two governments.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Based on the proposed intergovernmental agreement, a portion of the revenue related to business licenses services for 2017 would be payable to the City of Stonecrest in the amount of $1,208,500.21.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Adopt the attached intergovernmental agreement and expenditure, and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
