PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on June 11, 2024, for an amount not to exceed $600,000.00. On May 29, 2025, the BOC approved the 1st renewal option through June 30, 2026 for an amount not to exceed $400,000.00. This contract consists of providing helicopter repair and maintenance services for existing County helicopters. Both DeKalb Police aircrafts are approaching the end of life on various components due to age, flight hours, number of power cycles, elemental exposure, and major inspections. This request seeks to exercise the 2nd renewal option through June 30, 2027 and ratifies a previously issued PO for the replacement of rotors.

Recommended Action
Recommend approval to exercise the 2nd renewal option with:
Rotor Resources, LLC, 169 Commodore Path, Hiram, GA 30141
Amount Not To Exceed: $630,000.00
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the renewal and all associated documents.
