PURPOSE:

To allow for the Expansion of the Tucker-Northlake Community Improvement District

 

NEED/IMPACT:

The Tucker-Northlake CID, in order to increase the ability to improve the Tucker-Northlake business Community, needs to expand to include business in the Northlake and Tucker areas. This would allow for additional business to join and participate in the self-taxing District’s improvement programs on both sides of I-285. The proposed annexation meets the legal requirement of consent (87%).

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents to allow for the Expansion of the Tucker-Northlake Community Improvement District.
