PURPOSE:
To consider adopting the attached resolution creating Street Light District 121A in Land Lot 173
of the 16th District for the following streets: Gladstone Circle, Drayton Place, Broadwick Lane, Richmond Bend & Highbury Way; and
To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents pertaining to this project.
NEED/IMPACT:
The installation of streetlights is a requirement of the Zoning Code. Owners of 100 % percent of the total front footage have signed the petition. The public hearing has been advertised and appropriate signs have been posted in the area notifying the residents.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The developer has paid Georgia Power Company for the installation costs. All abutting property on this street will be assessed one dollar and five cents ($1.05) per lighted streetside foot per year in accordance with County policy.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Adopt the attached resolution to create Street Light District 121A in Land Lot 173 of the 16th District and have streetlights installed on Gladstone Circle, Drayton Place, Broadwick Lane, Richmond Bend & Highbury Way; and Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents pertaining to the project.
