PURPOSE:
To consider approving a resolution to authorize the adoption of the 2022 Service Delivery Strategy Update to the Georgia Department of Community Affairs and the Atlanta Regional Commission as required by state law.
NEED/IMPACT:
The County has spent several months preparing a major update to both its transportation and comprehensive plans, which is referred to as the 2050 Unified Plan Update. The GA Department of Community Affairs considers the 2050 Unified Plan Update a major update of the comprehensive planning document. Major updates to local comprehensive planning documents also require an update of the county Service Delivery Strategy.

Recommended Action
To defer a resolution authorizing the adoption of the 2022 Service Delivery Strategy Update to the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.
