PURPOSE:
To allocate District 4 Reserve for allocation funds for the 2022 Session of The R.I.S.E Up Leadership Program for District 4 middle school male students.
NEED/IMPACT:
The R.I.S.E Up Leadership Male Mentoring Program is designed to serve middle school males’ students of color who are academically at-risk, as indicated by low school performance, behavioral problems, and absentee
rates. This culturally enriched leadership and literacy program will educate, empower, and equip
these students to develop coping and resilient skills.
